Last night I had too much to drink
Sitting in a club with so many fools
Playing to rules
Trying to impress but feeling rather empty
I had another drink
Drink - a - drink - a - drink - a - drink
What a way to spend that evening
They all turn up with their friends
Playing the game
But in the scene I should have been
Far away
Away - away - away - away - away
Getting up, I feel as if I'm remembering this scene before
I open the door to an empty room
Then I forget
The telephone rings and someone speaks
She would very much like to go out to a show
So what can I do - I can't think what to say
She sees through anyway
Away - away - away - away - away
Out of the front door I go
Traffic's moving rather slow
Arriving late, there she waits
Looking very angry, as cross as she can be
Be - a - be - a - be - a - be - a - be
Getting up, I feel as if I'm remembering this scene before
I open the door to an empty room
Then I forget
Pink Floyd-Paranoid Eyes (03:43)
Roger Waters - vocals, bass guitar, Guitar. Nick Mason - drums. Michael Kamen - piano Andy Bown -
organ Ray Cooper - percussion National Philharmonic Orchestra- brass and string instruments. The
lyrics are about a man trying to re-adjust to being home after the war, and trying not to show
weakness in front of everyone else. This includes not talking about his experiences, especially when
directly questioned about them. The lyrics also express this veteran's fear of the capabilities of
human ...

i watched some of the concert on shrooms. freaking mind blowing except it would have been way more awesome if they didn't zoom in on the players all the damn time. a pink floyd concert is awesome in a whole, not just one band member playing.

"The Who are considered the greatest live rock n roll band from 1964 on" the beatles stopped touring sometime in 1966, so the who may have been considered after that.

The Who are considered the greatest live rock n roll band from 1964 on. Perhaps they didnt perform like they could from 64 to even 94 but they still kicked major ass for 65 yr old rockers, they can still play better than most bands half their age, plus half of The Who is gone now. The Who played Monterey Pop 67, Woodstock 69, Isle Of Wight 2, Live 8, Live Aid, Concert For NY, Superbowl, and 3.000 sold out shows, high energy, high volume, exciting shows. Most agree they rock.
